About Emily…

Hi, I’m Emily! Your family photographer. I’m Michael’s wife of almost 17 years, mom to 4 awesome children, a lover of cooking, gardening, crafting, working out, church, boating, sunsets, board games, and family time. I believe a charcuterie board most definitely counts as a meal. I’m an old soul. I feel a unique connection to our elderly community as much as the newborns I work with. I live with a grateful and giving heart.

Emily Clark Photography was a dream in the making for 10 years before coming to life. I started my journey in high school, tinkering with film cameras and developing prints in our small photography lab. My days were spent soaking up every detail about how to make cameras work in all lighting situations, with and without off camera flash. Yes, it was AGES ago! But that experience has helped make me who I am today as a photographer.

My life experiences have made an impact on my business model and what I have chosen to provide for my clients. When I married my husband of almost 17 years, I didn't have the option of digital photos or know how important a wedding album would be. Because of that, I personally design luxury albums for every couple, and ensures they have digital files to keep forever. Yes, both!

Having 4 children of my own, I’ve been the postpartum mom with all of the feelings, energy levels, and emotions that come with it. I have empathy for each mom that I get to work with. I know how important it is to capture these precious early days and I know they are fleeting. They go way too fast. I absolutely adore working with newborns and love capturing their tiny and unique features in photographs. Most importantly, I want to give families lifelong memories of their children from the very begining of their lives.

What is most fulfilling to me as a photographer is delivering finished images and albums to my clients and seeing their reactions as they see their photos for the first time. My work is my passion and I am so grateful photograph families in all stages of life.
