Hi there. I’m Emily Clark, a sports photographer in Grapevine Texas. My children are into a few different sports, including pole vaulting, gymnastics, basketball, and football. I really wanted some large portraits of them doing what they love, and to display them in our living space. I always purchase the quick team photos they offer at school, but I didn’t want digital backdrops and school names printed on the photos. I wanted high quality fine art portraits. Simply authentic. With the focus soley on them.
For my son, I chose to capture him IN his element. He’s not a fan of posing and this was the best way to have an authentic expression. I am absolutely thrilled with what we got. It shows exactly where he is at this point in his life.
Heritage Middle School athletics
For my daughter, I decided on studio style portraits where the focus is on her. I gave her some posing prompts and she ran with it. She’s a gymnast, so performing is natural to her. She was completely in her element and these represent her life right now. I love how these came out on the large prints!
